Supervised the Barnstable County Public Safety Training Department, which delivered in-service training and professional development to local public safety and emergency management departments on Cape Cod; this position also included serving as Barnstable County Safety Officer. Tasked with procuring and developing programming for four mobile fire training props to provide in-service training to 20 fire departments within the county. Administered the staff of 20 fire training instructors in association with program development and delivery. Assumed responsibility for managing the internal emergency alert system through RAVE Mobile Safety software for Barnstable County employees.Facilitated the Director in department administration, which entailed budgeting, procurement, and staff management.

Barnstable/Yarmouth, Massachusetts Area

Accountable for having developed and supervised emergency preparedness programs for the Barnstable County Regional Emergency Planning Committee (BCREPC); also, acted as Planning Section Chief for Barnstable County emergency responses, and served as a member of the Barnstable County Incident Management Team. Served as Planning Section Chief for Barnstable County’s response to COVID-19; this involved developing Incident Action Plans for COVID testing sites, vaccination sites, and a field hospital featuring over 100 operational periods. Deployed with the Incident Management Team on five occasions to assist local technical rescue teams with incident action planning during local incidents, including a hazmat spill and search and rescue operations.

Charged with maintaining three program residences for members to include managing contracts, MOUs, and maintenance.
