Responsible for all training, supervision, payroll and administrative functions for a $5+ million dollar per year revenue department. Responsible for departmental P&L. Responsible for all DOT compliance protocols as they pertain to independent contractors leased to CBSL Transportation and regulated by DOT to include log auditing and compliance. Conducted quarterly safety meetings as well as all remedial training in accordance to company policies. Also responsible for hiring and training of department personnel as well as Owner Operators leased to CBSL Transportation. Main contact with customers on all rate and service issues and maintained daily contact with clients to increase customer base. Supervise dispatch staff, assignment of equipment and drivers based on customer requirements. Reported directly to Terminal/Operations Manager.

Southeastern Fleet Manager for Schwerman Trucking(Tankstar, USA) in September of 2010. Responsible for all load/dispatch planning for the Southeastern region of the United States. In this role, I am tasked with ensuring fleet/equipment optimization and utilization to meet corporate revenue and utilization goals and to ensure/maintain error-free customer service. Increased revenues significantly in the Southeastern region by developing strong relationships with existing customer base and maximizing utilization of fleet assets.

Hired as Dedicated Account Manager/Traffic Manager for Tango Transport's remote office in Morton Grove, IL in May of 2009. Responsible for managing and dispatching my own fleet of dedicated account drivers including both OTR and city/regional LTL drivers as part of the fleet. In charge of all load planning and dispatching, served also as the Traffic Manager for ITT-Bell & Gossett in Morton Grove, IL.

Hired as Guardian Dispatcher in May of 2007. Responsible for managing and planning for a fleet of 50 to 70 trucks on a daily basis. Promoted in Fall of 2008 to Network Planner. In that role was responsible for handling all freight planning for trucks in Midwest region, averaging between 150 to 250 trucks on a daily basis. Primary in charge of Candian import/export compliance and also assisted with staff training to coincide with moving of operations from Pleasant Prairie, WI to Langhorne, PA.

Overall in charge of fleet safety and compliance from 2005 to 2006; additionally, also served as the night dispatcher and driver manager.

Hired as Driver Manager in 2000; assigned and managed a team of 50 to 75 drivers at any given time. Responsible for all driver's day-to-day needs/concerns as well as administering remedial training and discipline as needed. Promoted to Dispatcher in 2003, and was overall responsible for the Midwest region, responsible for all load planning and dispatch operations.
