It Technician
Current-Provide on-site tech support for all users in and out of office.-Light hands-on laptop repair, including but not limited to the replacing of hard drives, built-in keyboards, memory sticks, unit batteries, and laptop screens/screen bezels.-Monitor and manage all tickets assigned via a ticket queue and ensure that they are addressed and fulfilled in a timely manner.-Monitor all messages on Teams and Outlook for important messages related to the client, customers, and IT dept. -Communicate with Inventory Management Team for status on pending asset requests. -Clean, prepare, and assign all laptops that will be provided to clients.-Maintain a clean and organized personal workspace. -Assist users at the location's on-site walk-up IT desk, during the weeks when assigned to be there.-Provide support for business pitch meetings that request IT personnel to be present. Including supporting rehearsals, tech checks, as well as 100% dedication during the main event.-Provide assistance, outside of the regular scope of IT duties, to the Audio/Visual Team when requested. Usually consisting of assisting on-site meetings with dialing into the conference room’s video conferencing equipment, to communicate externally via Teams or Zoom. -Scheduling the repair of returned laptops via the manufacturer, when it is involving one of their assets that fall within active warranty coverage.-Maintaining strong time management skills, efficiency, and level-headedness in situations where it is required to pivot last-minute for a new task requested by upper management, when applicable.
