Cloud and Artificial Intelligence (C+AI) Customer Experience Engineering (CxE). Supported Azure Sentinel (now Microsoft Sentinel), Azure Security Center, Azure ATP (now Microsoft for Identity) and Microsoft Cloud App Security (now Defender for Cloud Apps).Acted in a CTO-like capacity for lab environments, training environments for both internal (MSFT employees) and external (i.e. Partners, customers). Developed various APIs and capabilities to enhance Microsoft products. Developed Functional Design Specifications while leading several major initiatives to better integrate MSFT detection capabilities.Helped push numerous features forward, while quantifying impact to help prioritize across the portfolio.Helped capture some of the largest Fortune companies in the world, through support on Incident Response and all the way through to deployment. Helped grow the Azure Security business ~%500 in 3 years.

Developed the Incident Response and Recovery IP for Microsoft. Helped develop Special Publications for NIST. Worked across Microsoft teams to develop new methods and means to measurably and confidently evict adversaries in environments. Supported numerous Fortune 100 and Government customers in an IR capacity, including some of the first ransomware cases documented.Developed Microsoft’s Compromise Recovery, Tactical Recovery and Strategic Recovery IP and initiatives from scratch, guiding it to quickly become a tens of millions of dollar consulting business.

Consulted numerous Fortune 100 companies, State and Local Governments and US Government entities on various cyber security initiatives. Briefed at the White House and to the Speaker of the House on cyber security events. Special advisor to Pentagon/DoD.Led IT Strategy and Cybersecurity Strategy discussions, internally and directly with customers. These strategies included disaster recovery, risk management and overall information technology focus points--a comprehensive and inclusive cybersecurity strategy being overlayed across all areas.

Architected and incubated DoD Enterprise-wide Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) capabilities such as Host Based Security System (HBSS), Zero-Day Network Defense (ZND), Secure Host Baseline (SHB), Joint Information Environment (JIE), Flying Squirrel and others. Helped lead research and development of Secure Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), which gave rise to various programs, including Continuous Monitoring Risk Scoring (CMRS).

Lead Architect for the Host Based Security System (HBSS) for the Enterprise, across the GIG. Worked across the Combatant Command, Services, and Agencies to ensure reliable service and full defensive capabilities. Managed the end-to-end capabilities deployed to endpoints, DoD-wide. Supported JTF-GNO (now USCYBERCOMMAND) and NSA to support incident response/triage.Partnered with NSA and NIST to develop SCAP, Secure Content Automation Protocol (i.e. CVE, CVSS). Integrated these emerging standards, with that of other standards from Trusted Computing Group (TCG) into exisitng capabilities/services across DoD.This includes end to end PM of programs, from acquisition, to deployment to operations.
