I have a passion for quality design and find enjoyment in the process of creating. I have had the good fortune of learning from both collegiate and art mentors as well as from business owners and corporate designers in various industries through work and internships. Many unique experiences have shaped my design perspective.I love to create and The University of Georgia's Fine Arts program allowed me to flourish. I was even awarded the highest student stipend to study in Italy for a semester. Italy enhanced my art and was an influential cultural experience. My leadership position at UGA Rugby financed my trip to South Africa where I both refined my own rugby skills and helped coach younger players. My experience in South Africa was vital in developing my leadership skills.My experience at S&A has allowed me to develop my management skills, learn the procurement process, and better understand how to complete multi-million dollar projects on time and within budget. I've been involved in many facets of the business from web design to construction supervisor and have traveled to multiple job sites across the U.S. and abroad.My passion for metal and construction lead me to create Saint Udio Metal Shop. Saint Udio is a design and build fabrication shop for custom ornamental iron, residential and commercial industries. My time there challenged me as an entrepreneur, a business leader and artist. Saint Udio continues to thrive in Athens, Ga. My passion for metallurgy and craft lead me to start Edgewood Knives in 2018. I make custom hunting and culinary knives from locally sourced materials and USA made steels. My reclaimed materials acknowledge the need for clean rivers and streams. I donate at least 10% of earnings to local conservation groups and for environmental awareness.I am currently a Quality Control Supervisor CWI at TASSCO. We process around $36 million worth of products annually that service paper industry, mining, steel manufacturing, concrete and many other industries with high abrasive, high heat or corrosive environments.
