At StatBid, I'm responsible for upholding the values and profitability of StatBid, and driving the continued growth and happiness of our team. On the profit side, that means I'm focused on making sure our existing clients grow with us, and have a productive relationship with us as a partner. I work with our Directors of Data Science, SEM, and SEO to make sure that our delivery keeps improving, and that both our goals and the goals of our clients are executed reliably. We're also a small team, and I try to make sure we're building our team in smart ways, continuing to train and develop our inhouse expertise, and make sure the culture of StatBid both reinforces these goals and keeps making it a wonderful place to work for everyone.

I directed our team of account managers, and helped manage day-to-day updates, strategy, and direction for our entire client portfolio. Some days, that meant working with development to improve an algorithm, or tweaking the assumptions going into a statistical model. Some days, it meant building out a new marketing campaign split test, or updating our broader strategies from the results of earlier tests. Always, it meant delivering the best results a crack team of humans and scripts can manage for a wide array of retailers and direct-to-consumer manufacturers.

As Director of Ecommerce Pricing, I optimize, test, and design online pricing and promotions while driving new strategies to enhance the overall profitability and sales of the Leslie's E-Commerce division. I'm ultimately responsible for the pricing strategy across all of the Leslie's-operated E-Commerce sites and third-party marketplaces.In addition, I develop ecommerce tests and maintain a suite of reports and alerts in order to share insights with marketing managers, category buyers, logistics, and customer service teams. With data-driven results and quick feedback cycles, I help the enterprise to make smarter decisions.

As our dedicated e-commerce analyst, I created and managed tests and experiments intended to improve the performance and ease-of-use of our portfolio of sites. I also projected inventory, sales, and competitive influences for the future, I managed pricing, and I dredged large databases of customer information, site traffic, and more to create actionable insights and improve our business practices. In short - I used mathematics, data-mining, scripting, and experimental design to make Leslie's a smarter e-commerce actor.

I continued to lead the merchandising efforts on PoolSupplyWorld.com, as well as contributing some minor software development work in ColdFusion for both our website and for back-end reporting. I also managed all of our customer-facing split testing, running hundreds of total tests to enhance conversion rates, customer experiences, and ultimately increase profitable sales. I helped to manage the transition of the Leslie's website onto a proprietary web platform, and assisted in the integration of all of our websites and the legacy Leslie's support and logistics systems.

I led the merchandising efforts on PoolSupplyWorld.com, the primary retail website of PoolSupplyWorld, Inc. In addition, I coordinated SEO efforts across the retail network of PoolSupplyWorld, manage our PPC marketing campaigns, and help support other marketing positions to coordinate our efforts as a company. After PoolSupplyWorld was acquired by Leslie's, I helped manage the integration of PSW and the transition of Leslie's websites and back-end systems.

As Site Lead, I helped to design and construct tapoutlet.co.uk, which was Build.com's first planned live use of the Magento e-commerce platform. I trained a small team of clerks in the use of Magento and in UK terminology and product differences, then led the design and merchandising of the initial product offering. TapOutlet.co.uk launched successfully on May 14th, 2012, and following that I continually improved the category and brand merchandising based on feedback from our marketing efforts and site-tracking tools, adding several new brands and categories, and planning for the eventual work on new sites.

I managed a team of 30 data entry and quality assurance staff, and was responsible for the product data present on all company websites. I led the addition of new manufacturers to the sites, helped set pricing, monitored the quality and completeness of all data, worked with vendors and manufacturers to ensure accurate information and timely updates, and handled a wide range of additional projects as driven by corporate goals.

I originally started with Improvement Direct as a Sales Specialist (or Customer Service Representative) directly supervised by Mark Manduca, but transitioned to data under Bryan Morgan. After his departure, I continued data work, taking on increasingly larger projects under Nick Strachan. As a Data Specialist, I worked extensively in SQL and Improvement Direct's internal applications. As a Sales Specialist, I consistently ranked in the top departmental totals.

I monitored a variety of student computer labs, assisting staff and students alike with technical difficulties and providing detailed help for the improvement of certain computer-oriented skills, such as teaching people the basics of word processing, how to search for particular items using the Internet, and more. I also tutored in mathematics in groups and individually, from low-level Algebra to advanced Calculus.

I tutored high school students in a variety of academic subjects, primarily math and sciences.
