We’re proud of our history as a community bank at Northwest Bank and are dedicated to making a difference in the places where we live and work. From the foothills of Pennsylvania’s Allegheny Mountains, to the vibrant neighborhoods of Columbus, Buffalo and Pittsburgh, to the Indiana heartland, we get involved. We contribute to the mission of organizations throughout our footprint. andour employees lead and volunteer for causes and projects that are meaningful to them, making a positive impact throughout our communities. It is my great hope that we can continue Northwest Bank's long legacy of stability, profitability, collaboration, and care for the communities we serve. As part of the Special Assets Department in the Credit Division, my role is to manage the bank’s portfolio of commercial, small business, and residential properties. The main function of the REO Analyst is the project management of the REO portfolio, ensuring the efficiency and profitability of the property lifecycle, beginning from receiving the property into the bank's ownership, through approving repairs, overseeing the marketing and then the eventual sale of the asset.Additionally, the REO Analyst completes the administrative functions of the department which include filing and tracking charge-offs, write-downs, appraisal valuation orders, submission of bills/invoices, reporting, forecasting, and audit requirements. In Special Assets, we work together as a team with management, legal counsel, municipal government officials, code enforcement officials, realtors, investors, property managers, and external stakeholders to reinvigorate and revitalize the communities within our footprint.
