Andrew (Andy) Frye’s corporate career spreads equally in the United States and International Markets in Pharma, Biotech, Medtech, and Services. He leads with focus, passion, and a vision for the future, bringing experience in marketing innovation, growth acceleration, digital transformation, cost restructuring, and cross-functional leadership. Andy is known for inclusiveness and challenging the status quo, building local and hybrid teams across continents while at Abbott, DKSH, and Baxter. Andy’s passion for innovation started in his early days with the advent of managed care in the US, leading new approaches in Disease Management at the provider level. He quickly grew to lead National Sales Teams and was an inaugural member of the HUMIRA global launch team, playing a pivotal role in clinical strategy, European launch acceleration, pricing and reimbursement of the world’s largest-selling biologic. He followed this with country leadership roles in Canada and Japan. He drove accelerated growth efforts at DKSH, the leading commercial partnering organization in Asia, scaling CRM, Marketing Strategy and Legal processes. He later championed the reunification of Baxter in Asia Pacific, and led global efforts in data visualization and platform connectivity. Andy served as Board Chairman of APACMed, an industry group representing medical technology companies and stakeholders across the Asia Pacific region for multiple years and also led Baxter’s enterprise software connectivity and Global Care Solutions and Connectivity Unit. He is known for “going deep” to understand the customer, and stakeholder journey to ensure processes are value-added for all stakeholders, ensuring stronger sustainable growth. Andy now focuses on Private Equity in the Healthcare space specifically and in the lower middle market in general technology and services. He enjoys spending time with startup companies and coaching younger executives and co-investing in small businesses and real estate. Andy has lived and traveled the world with his family and presently resides with his wife in Dallas, TX. His personal priorities include staying fit through exercise and nutrition, learning new skills, golfing with friends and growing in his faith. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology (Honors) from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
