Andrew Thornton is the Managing Partner of Bridge Street Consulting (BSC). BSC works with clients to devise and deliver successful growth strategies. Andrew is also Chairman and Non Executive Director of the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) - the leading body for professional marketers in Australia. He is also a Non Executive Director of Fishburners - Australia's leading Tech Startup Hub.Andrew‘s philosophy in engaging with clients is as an adviser and coach, not as a consultant in the more conventional sense. Prior to moving into consulting, Andrew held senior executive positions with market leading organisations including Transurban, Pacific Micromarketing, St. George Bank, Optus and AMP.Andrew is a Graduate of the David Syme Business School, Monash University; a Graduate of the Harvard Leadership Program; a Life Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute (Life FAMI) and a Certified Practicing Marketer (CPM). He is member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD)In October 2018, he was awarded Life Membership of the Australian Marketing Institute for services to the marketing profession.Andrew is the former Deputy Chair and NED of the Australian Society for Progress and Wellbeing (www.aspw.asn.au) and a former NED (and Chair of the Finance Committee) of the Australian Direct Marketing Association (ADMA).
