Achieved qualification and approval of AMD double density telephony VoIP SLIC/SLAC modules to indigenous manufacturers of the Great Dragon HJD04 medium and large capacity PABX Switches which led to the significant growth of many Chinese firms including ZTE, Legend and Huawei, paving the way for a modern telephony and internet network across China. Represented AMD to the the Centre for Information Technology (CIT) in Zhengzhou, Henan as well as the Institute of Information Engineering of the People's Liberation Army and achieved approval of AMD circuit design for notable switch manufacturers including Huawei.

Reporting to the Assistant Chancellor for Budget and Planning, Errol Mauchlan, and Vice Chancellor for Undergraduate Affairs, Mac Laetsch, represented the Office of Chancellor Ira Michael Heyman to the Directors of the University Art Museum, Berkeley (now Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive). Working with the Development Director of the UAM, created the "Student Committee for the Arts" (now BAM/PFA Student Committee) at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive in order to ensure student involvement in programming and the allocation of student fees which made up a significant portion of the BAM/PFA annual budget.
