Procurement Business Partner for Government Sector Procurement point-of-contact for the organisation’s Government Sector accounts, including UK Visa and Immigration, HMPO, Transport for London, and National Highways, representing a total 3rd party spend of £47m in 2021.Bid-Work and ManagementInvolved in the end-to-end management of the supplier space during bids for new clients, and renewals of the organisation’s existing contracts in Government Sector.Responsibilities include direct and indirect procurement, sourcing and supplier selection, contract drafting and review, supplier vetting, commercial negotiations, and supplier onboarding.Entails working in large, multi-functional teams, collaborating with senior peers.Achievements include the transition of a 30+ supplier base to the organisation, managing a range of contracting and commercial models, stakeholders, and onboarding requirements, all to tight timelines. BAU Account Management Working across multiple accounts across Government Sector, acting as the Procurement SME for the both the organisation’s internal and client-facing teams. Responsibilities vary from supplier and contract management, regular stakeholder engagement and Statement of Work drafting and review.Highlights included material changes to a host of 3rd party agreements relating to the organisation’s contract with Transport for London. This involved assessing the existing deals against the new strategic ambitions for the business, ensuring the contracts complemented these goals to facilitate and enable growth.

Procurement projects lead, handling a multitude of simultaneous Request for Proposal/Quotation/Information (RFx) initiativeso Manages projects throughout entire life cycle, from discovery, to contract execution.o Acts as an SME for the purchasing process, utilising a plethora of critical skills, including stakeholder management, construction of RFx documentation, negotiation, contract/commercial review. This is demonstrated through defining stakeholders, working with these to outline project expectations and formalise requirements in RFx material, analysing and advising on vendor responses, leading commercial discussions, and ensuring the project has progressed through proper governance/vetting before initiating sign-off.Savings generation totalling approximately £400k for 19/20 financial yearo Highlights include the management of a £1m hardware purchase with Dell, a £700k renewal of support services for Cisco networking hardware/software Infrastructure category lead, owning relationships with suppliers such as Dell.o Establishes and expands knowledge of Infrastructure space.o Analyses vendors, evaluating strengths and weaknesses in order to shape strategy.Procurement Change Request (CR) lead with services supplier Cognizanto Responsible for drafting and executing CR documentation via collaboration with key stakeholders and vendor account management.Contractual Vettingo Risk ownership, driving a company-wide mandate of risk mitigation and awareness across key stakeholder groups, including Security, Legal, and Data Protection, in interest of cost avoidance and protecting the organisation in a risk-adverse industry.o Arms business owners with knowledge of contracts and key terms.Renewals Managemento Responsible for the timely renewal of over 40 support contracts in 19/20 financial year, aggregate value of approximately £2m. Realised via close collaboration with IT Asset Management team and methodical planning/execution.

Designated as the IT Commercial regional lead for a $3bn divestiture efforto Handled the bifurcation/assignment of approximately 60 EMEA-wide telecom contracts, ensuring alignment to a strict timeline.EMEA lead in Telecom RFP creation, and procurement – these exercises totalled to approximately $400k USD over the 2017/2018 financial yearo Slashed mobility expenses by an average of 30% across a myriad of EMEA territories, through rigorous negotiation, whilst ensuring continued enhancements of services, and employee satisfaction. o Approximately $120k USD worth of savings realised within 2017/2018 financial year. Achieved via the management of approximately 30 tenders across the financial year, with a strategy of vendor consolidation enabling economies of scale. Project – Telecom Expense Management (RFP)o Delivered $50000 USD worth of savings through mobility plan optimisation.o Enabled superior fleet management, and better alignment with company policy.o Result of established relationship and consequent collaboration with key internal stakeholders, located across North America and EMEA.

Project – Remedy for HRo Entailed a full RFP process, assessing the merits of Remedy, and equivalent tools. Upon selection, a small team was led through the implementation process, from project development and execution, to ultimate adoption.o Upon implementation of the tool, metrics relating to departmental performance were then sourced and assessed. Efficiencies captured included an increase in ticket response times by approximately 15%.o This project facilitated the development of time management skills and granted understanding of the RFP process.Project – IT Services Audito Produced a comprehensive overview of IT services in EMEA and associated spend. o Engendered bi-directional conversation with a range of departments, to ensure full visibility. o $100k worth of savings realised, through the termination of obsolete services.o Exposure to a wealth of fiscal data furthered understanding of quantitative data. In addition, the nature of this exercise placed emphasis on collaboration with several parties, across EMEA, building the foundations for future work.

Throughout my 2nd and 3rd year of university, I co-hosted and produced an award-winning radio show. Working alongside a fellow student, the show was predominantly music-based, however also starred a number of features, interviews, and guest mixes. Its companion piece, a continually updated music blog, was recognised in the University of Southampton's annual media awards ceremony.

Valeter/General Assistant: My responsibilities included customer service, which involved interacting with customers, ensuring they were happy with the services offered. This work also included me valeting cars, where I was entrusted with the task of maintaining the company’s high values. In creating, managing and updating the company’s online showroom, IT skills were also a crucial part to my work.
