In December 2021, I retired as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers after 35 years of service including over 20 years as a partner. Since this time I have been appointed to non executive roles with:- Doctors Health SA, Director and Chair of Finance Committee)- Southern Adelaide Local Heath Network (SALHN), Audit Committee Member- South Australian Government, Department of Premier and Cabinet, Risk and Performance Committee member- New Wave BioTech, Commercial Advisory Board memberPrevious non executive roles included:- Deputy Chair of Council and Chair of the Finance Committee of Pembroke School- Board Member and Treasurer of the Memorial Drive Tennis Club. Executive roles held since December 2021 included: - Core Lithium Interim CFO (Dec 22 to June 23) assisting the company in a period of transition. Responsibilities included supervision and mentoring of finance team, accounting and statutory and management reporting and supporting the CEO and executives.- Essential Energy Senior Corporate Finance Advisor (Oct 22 to Jan 23) providing advice and expertise re Governance including policies, procedures, risk management, internal controls and financial reporting.My career at PwC included audit, accounting advice, compliance and transaction services including assisting ASX listed companies to meet compliance and reporting obligations. I worked extensively with Boards and Audit Committees in my role as an audit partner.My experience included working in Melbourne, San Francisco and Beijing and with businesses in Hong Kong and China. I have a strong knowledge of:- mining (exploration through to rehabilitation, including gold, base metals, lithium and uranium)- infrastructure (airports, rail, energy, regulated and unregulated)- utilities (electricity, water, gas and renewables, regulated and unregulated)- oil and gas (locally and internationally)- agriculture (wine and agribusiness)- defence (public and private contractors)This experience includes working with the largest companies globally.I have a sound understanding of ESG - and the need for continued focus to meet the increasing needs of stakeholders.I pride myself on the quality of the my relationships and the open and transparent way in which I work.I am highly regarded as a coach and mentor.
