I graduated from Ashland High in 2014. While in high school, I worked with Hunter Douglas, a company which produces window shades. This experience has greatly expanded my interests to problem solving, electronic circuits, building with my hands and learning how machines work. While employed at Hunter Douglas, I worked in the research and development division where machines are invented to potentially mass produce shades of various sizes and designs.I decided to go to college in order to expand my knowledge of electronics and to ultimately attain a reliable career in an interesting field that I love. I now study computer and electrical engineering at Massachusetts Bay community college. Electrical engineering interests me because electronics keep advancing at an astounding rate. The excitement of this field for me is that, as long as it can be conceptualized, then it can be created.
