At TTL, I have had the privilege of working for several departments over two summers and two winters including our Oil & Gas, Geotechnical Engineering, and Construction Management Departments. Below are listed roles and responsibilities per department.Oil and Gas - Utilized AutoCAD Civil 3D to assist in the creation of preliminary pipeline installation drawings including a federal dredging project in the Corpus Christi Ship Channel. Clients included NuStar Energy, Citgo Petroleum, Kinder Morgan, and Enterprise Products. Geotechnical Engineering - Utilized AutoCAD Civil 3D, gINT Geotechnical Software, and xGEL Labmate Software to identify, test and classify boring samples regarding foundation design parameters for companies including American Electric Power and Oncor Electric Delivery. Soil tests were conducted to ASTM standards and included the following tests: M200, Moisture Content, Plasticity Index, Proctors, and Sulfate Content.Construction Management - Collected data for the removal of 31 pipelines of various ownership. Collection processes included inductive and conductive tracking of pipelines, Hydro excavation to determine depth of cover, LEL and H2S gas level testing, point of entry analysis, pipe weight and diameter determination, and the consolidation of data for clients and owners.

Aggie ACHIEVE is a comprehensive transition program (CTP) for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who have graduated from high school. The responsibilities of a Residential Mentor include living with up to three students and assisting in the transition to independent living. Part of this process is building up skills in cooking, grocery shopping, chore completion, living space maintenance and ultimately fostering a welcoming environment for a first year student within the program.

Over two summers at UT Health San Antonio, I was fortunate enough to gain experience as a member of the Radiation Safety team as well as perform short-term, high-intensity research under the guidance of licensed Medical Physicists. As a part of the Radiation Safety Division, I assisted in Ocular Brachytherapy procedures, GammaTile Brachytherapy procedures for recurrent glioblastoma patients, I-131 dose delivery for hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer patients, and Lutetium-177 Pluvicto Therapy for prostate cancer patients. Working with licensed medical physicists, I was able to shadow and assist with Equipment Performance Evaluations for PET/CT machines, NOMAD dental units, CT machines, C-Arms, and dental-mounted x-ray machines. Additionally, I shadowed for the annual QA testing of an onsite VersaHD Linear Accelerator, and Total Body Irradiation walkthroughs with Doctorate of Medical Physics (DMP) residents.Research was also conducted exploring the standardization of Cerrobend lung blocks for Total Body Irradiation patients with a 4th year DMP student under the guidance of a licensed medical physicist.

Scatter surveys for various x-ray units across campus were conducted as well as weekly survey wipes for removable contamination. Additionally, rotational shadowing was conducted in various departments including University Hospital Nuclear Medicine, MARC Heart Station, Research Imaging Institute and the onsite Cyclotron. Research was also conducted to validate a 6 MeV flattening-filter-free (6FFF) beam on a VersaHD linear accelerator for Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy treatments under the guidance of a licensed medical physicist.

Compose Drainage Exhibits, and Regional Storm Water Management Participation Forms, meeting City Code.

Drafted 3D models in Tekla Structures for various steel structures in the San Antonio and Austin area through collaboration with several Professional Structural Engineers and drafters.Drafted 2D construction drawings in correlation with Architectural and Engineering plans which include roofing, framing, and foundation plans utilizing various CAD programs such as Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, and Revit. Drafted Fabrication Drawings after preliminary plans had been approved utilizing Tekla Structures.
