I'm a graduate student at Georgia Tech, where I study Geographic Information Science and Technology. I work part time as a graduate assistant for the Friendly Cities Lab building a curiculum to teach GIS to Computer Scientists under Dr Clio Andris. This semester I'm taking Advanced GIS, Introduction to Remote Sensing, Visualization, Land Conservation, and preparing for my capstone project. I am also serving as a student representative to Georgia Tech's Tree Campus Advisory Committee. This past fall semester I completed Programming for GIS (Python & ArcPy), Advanced Planning Methods (tidyverse R), Climate Change Analytics (tidyverse R), and Geovisualization and Geovisaul Analytics.This past summer I worked as a contractor for Trees Atlanta, where I maintained Trees Atlanta's geo-database in ArcGIS. I've been a volunteer with Trees Atlanta working to expand and maintain Atlanta’s urban forest for over two years now. I recently earned my undergraduate degree in Computer Science with Highest Honors from Georgia Tech. During my undergraduate degree, I did a lot of work with user research, design principles, and graphical user interfaces. I'm was a senior teaching assistant for CS 2261 (Media Device Architectures) where we build video games in C and Assembly. I also completed internships at KPMG in the Tech Advisory Practice, Humana in the Site Reliability Engineering team, and Feral Interactive in Java Tools. Finally, I completed a minor in Philosophy with the School of Public Policy here at Georgia Tech. Outside of the classroom, I’m also a co-founder of the Georgia Tech Ethics Bowl Program. I represented the team at two Regional IEB competitions, and travelled to Besthesda to compete at the Lockheed Martin Ethics in Engineering Competition. Being a competitor myself however is only a small part of my contribution. I've served as a major facilitator for this team, and have taken many steps to ensure it's longevity after my graduation. I also formerly served as President of Debate Team at Georgia Tech for two years before moving to the team’s advisory board. During my time as President I oversaw a revitalisation of the team from a team that was functionally inactive, to a nationally recognized program. In my two years of leadership we submitted 15 tournament entries, had 150+ members on the roster, and hosted the state tournament (GPDA 2022). I personally orchestred countless rhetoric and speech workshops, coached numerous competitors, and competed at several prestigious conferences.
