About Andrew Jenis
I have the privilege to support the physicians and advanced practice providers for over a dozen emergency departments, hospitalists, and observation units in the USACS East division. Our team provides care for over 500k patient visits annually. We “Care for Patients” through clinician engagement, leadership development, operational excellence, and financial oversight. During this turbulent time in medicine, I have improved provider and hospital engagement, patient experience, and operational performance. I have accomplished these responsibilities while being fiscally responsible. Prior to becoming vice president, I was the USACS and EMP Traveling Medical Director for 8 years. In that role, I led eight emergency departments in 8 different states. At each ED, I markedly improved the relationship with our hospital partners, physicians and advanced practice providers by focusing on patient experience and operations. I have practiced emergency and hospitalist medicine for over 20 years in rural, suburban and urban emergency departments, as well as, telemedicine, community and academic locations.
