I spent most of my career life in the military after doing ten years in the United States Army. After gaining the rank of Staff Sergeant, I was in charge of up to ten soldiers at any given time. One of the great things while working in the service, I was given the opportunity to be given skills in many different areas not only with my primary job as an Artilleryman. I worked in the office as the Training Room NCO and picked up on handling of sensitive items and creating schedules for over 100 soldiers at a time. I was also given the opportunity to become the liaison and human resource manager of 30 foreign nationals and interpreters while serving in Iraq. To this day, I still speak with those individuals as we became needful of one another. My jobs with them included making sure they were paid on time and properly, making sure their schedules were clear and precise when being used on missions, and making sure they were fed and had adequate sleeping and clothing arrangements at all times.After being Honorably Discharged from the Army, I worked as a Security Guard at night and attended College to make sure I could benefit the most of what the United States could give me.I graduated from College with an AAS in Telecommunications Production and use my skills mainly for personal use as most jobs are needed outside of the Colorado Springs area. I would prefer to stay here in Colorado as I have grown to love this city and state.With my current skills, and the ability to still learn more, I feel that I can be a great asset to any team if given the chance.I started a small business where I'm able to use my Graphic Art Ability and build custom pieces made of glass, acrylic and wood.
