The Investment Services Group is responsible for the development and maintenance of all systems and applications used by HOOPP's Front, Middle and Back Office staff. Projects included:• Identifying and reconciling differences in the pricing methodologies between the Accounting system (Simcorp Dimension) and the Performance Management System, resulting in valuation discrepancies in over 2000 positions. Facilitated negotiations between system owners to design and develop a reconciliation process.• Designing and implementing the upgrade of HOOPP's Performance Management Systems to accommodate new financial instruments and regulatory requirements.• Collected data, analyzed, modelled and tested an internally developed stress testing web application, which calculated prices for 20-30 different types of financial instruments. This allowed Investment Managers to assess the dollar impact of hypothetical scenarios on their holdings.

• Performed middle and back office tasks in the lifecycle of credit and interest rate derivatives (trade processing, settlement, daily valuation, and monthly reconciliation with the counterparty) • Developed procedural documentation for new processes after conversion to Simcorp Dimension. Updated existing documentation and verified compliance with internal controls.• Trained three new hires by developing a learning plan tailored to each individual’s knowledge and experience.
