Current• Design, deployment, optimization and administration of remote, virtualized datacenter environments using VMware vSphere 5 – installation and configuration of rack-mounted hardware, including a Dell PowerEdge M1000e Blade Enclosure, Dell M-series PowerEdge blade servers, Dell PowerEdge R-series rack-mounted servers, Dell Compellent iSCSI Storage Center, Dell Force10 MXL layer 3 switches, Dell PowerConnect layer 2 and 3 switches, clustered firewalls; installation and configuration of all corresponding management software• Design, deployment, optimization, and support of corporate production data networks - configuration and support of network and storage equipment and solutions including layer 2 and 3 Dell PowerConnect switches, Dell PowerEdge Servers, Watchguard XTM and X Core e-Series firewalls, Cisco 2600 and 2900 series routers, Dell PowerEdge server management, HP and EqualLogic SAN storage solutions• Network administration, resource and user management within a Windows Server 2003/2008 Active Directory environment; Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 management and support• Network security administration for PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) business compliance, including vulnerability scans, penetration testing, port scans, CVE and OVAL research, remote access management using RSA SecurID and VPN connections, anti-virus software management, network-wide system patching, system security updates management, internal and external threat protection, virus/malware suppression and emergency response• Installation, configuration and support of network-integrated Avaya/Verizon telephone and voicemail system including digital and IP Deskphones, Avaya IP Office, Windows Server 2008 R2, Cisco 2911 ISR, Dell PowerConnect 5548 POE switch• Departmental workstation OS upgrade rollout to approximately 75 PCs using Windows Deployment Services (WDS) and Symantec Ghost
