Constellation Learning is an online institution that serves a consortium of independent schools across the United States. Constellation's mission is to connect students across space, time, and culture in unique and innovative learning opportunities. As a teacher at Constellation, my responsibilities include:- Design unique courses that fill content and skill gaps in traditional curricula- Establish and maintain open lines of communication with students and school liaisons- Promote a culture of curiosity, participation, and learning through synchronous and asynchronous online learning activities- Utilize a variety of e-learning tools to provide students with opportunities to collaborate and expand their technology skills

Miami Country Day School (MCDS) is an independent school in Miami, Florida. The school serves a diverse population of local and international students. MCDS focuses on educating the whole child, with emphasis on the core values of purpose, respect, compassion, honor, and wisdom. As a teacher at MCDS, my responsibilities include:- Create a safe environment for kids to explore academic concepts and discover themselves- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents- Collaborate with colleagues to establish scope and sequence for curricula- Devise innovative lessons that advance student understandings and skills- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of neurodiverse learners- Advise families on social-emotional as well as academic progress- Promote a culture of curiosity and lifelong learning- Guide colleagues in professional development opportunitiesIn addition to my teaching and other professional responsibilities, I have:- Presented at State (FCIS) and National (AMLE) conferences- Participated in the accreditation of peer schools (FCIS and FKC)- Led or co-sponsored multiple extracurricular activities including esports, Project Invent, SEAMATE underwater robotics, and engineering clubMy teaching assignments have included courses in physical sciences, applied technologies, digital and media literacy, introduction to coding, engineering design, robotics, web design, elementary math, pre-algebra, and pre-calculus. Outside of the classroom I have also worked as a coach for the middle school baseball team, the middle school girls soccer team, and the JV volleyball team. I have chaperoned many class trips, as well as camping trips with the experiential outdoor education program, COEP.

As the assistant registrar, I worked with the Academic Dean and Department Chairs to manage course placements for students. I also created the master schedule of classes for the Middle and Upper Schools, as well as the schedules for over 750 students each year. Additionally, I worked with the registrar to maintain all course, faculty, and student records. Each year, I reviewed the annual scheduling process to recommend improvements which often included updates to both policies and procedures relating to all steps of scheduling.

As the Webmaster at Miami Country Day School, I coordinated the redesign of the website three times, led an initiative to centralize web-services in a single website, and supervised updates to the content of the website. In addition to my primary responsibilities, I advised on IT projects such as the development of a SharePoint intranet service for the school.

I worked with several boutique companies in a variety of industries ranging from wedding photography to environmental services. As a consultant, I provided website design, digital content creation, and marketing plans tailored to the specific needs of my clients.

Preventative Aftercare, Inc. (PAC) offers comprehensive, family-focused, community-based services to families whose children are enrolled in George Junior Republic's residential school in Grove City, PA. PAC seeks to identify challenges faced by families, then connect them with resources in the community with the goal of increasing the chances for clients to become positive, contributing members of their communities. As a Reintegration Worker, my responsibilities included:- Maintaining a relationship with clients during their residential stay at George Junior Republic- Partnering with client families to establish needs and strengths- Connecting client families with community resources to augment their functioning as a unit- Developing a plan of action for clients and their families as their return to home approaches- Meeting clients and their families regularly after their return home to monitor conditions and provide further services as needed
