The Social Economy Group is a social-purpose consultancy that works with international civil society organisations, non-profits, philanthropists and impact businesses to deliver change.My particular areas of focus are in organisational strategy & effectiveness, influence & advocacy and government & multilateral donors. I also have an expertise in the area of international NGOs accreditation with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, it involved leading the development and supporting the execution of the strategy for the group that held end-to-end accountability for all institutional donor partnerships (government and multilateral institutions), which represents 40% of the revenue (cash and non-cash) of the business including $200million cash contracts under management. It also held a whole of field accountability for all programming (both international and domestic) in 58 countries including the direct implementation of our work with First Australians.I was accountable for:- Defining and leading implementation of a responsive, coherent, actionable, single strategy for World Vision Australia's institutional supporters in line with the corporate strategy.- Defining and supporting implementation of a whole of organisation international programs strategy which defined the investment principles, geographical and technical priorities of World Vision Australia in line with the World Vision Partnership Strategy.- Designing, leading and supporting the implementation of an account management framework for all strategic institutional donors.- Account Lead of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade account, World Vision Australia's largest supporter across income and influence of $40m annually, including leading the organisational wide process for reaccreditation.

Responsible for the leadership of World Vision Australia’s relationships with Australian Government, including parliamentarians and public servants. It worked closely with the CEO and his office, media team and policy and programming teams to influence Australian Government policy and practice.Key achievements included:- Influencing the 2014 Australian aid policy and benchmarks;- Protecting the Australian NGO Cooperation Program and other key NGO funding from significant cuts;- Influencing the government's InnovationExchange design and private sector policy;- Influencing the 2015 Australian Labor Party platform and policy to include key policy priorities including an increase to the aid program and aid legislation;- Supporting the Civil Society 20 (C20) during the G20 in Brisbane in 2014.

Working in the West End community and local Uniting Church to engage in ministry, particularly focused around issues of justice.

Project based research, policy development and co-ordination in the areas ofhomelessness, housing affordability, financial stress and asylum seekers.

Providing research and client assistance to registered Migration Agentcaseworkers in refugee and refugee family reunions.

Lead the Uniting Church in Queensland's advocacy work.• Research, theological reflection, policy development and strategyfor the Queensland Synod, ecumenical and local justice advocacy.• Production of resources.• Congregational and Presbytery (regional) visits and training.• Community collaborations with ecumenical, community, interstateand national organisations.• Briefing and de-briefing of short-term trips and long term placementswith Uniting International Mission (Now UnitngWorld)
