Invited to return to HealthEdge for a second summer where I expanded my responsibilities from theprevious internship. This involved helping to advance several key business initiatives including ourCOVID-19 response and the expansion of the company’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs.● Participated in COVID-19 strategy meetings. Projects included the remote work plan, programsto support employee health and well being, and new initiatives to maintain employeeengagement.● Worked with a cross-functional team to expand and enhance the company’s diversity, equityand inclusion program. Was responsible for identifying and delivering content for a companywide education program.● Surveyed employees and used their feedback to develop internal communication material tosupport employee culture and engagement in the remote COVID-19 work environment.● Developed and launched a social media campaign to showcase the 2020 intern program andparticipants, highlighting their accomplishments as well as HealthEdge as an employer of choice.

Partnered with the HR team and key internal stakeholders of a healthcare software company to support staffing activities during a period of rapid growth. During the three-month internship, the team hired more than 30 candidates. Initial responsibilities were expanded based on strong performance.● Increased speed to hire by managing candidate scheduling, coordinating onsite interviews withVP-level stakeholders, and conducting reference checks which ultimately enabled recruiters tospend more time sourcing candidates.● Served as the initial point of contact for candidates and ensured a positive candidate interviewexperience by greeting candidates upon arrival and briefing them on the interview process andpanel.● Participated in candidate debrief sessions with hiring managers and recruiters to determinecandidate eligibility; worked with the finance team to gain perspective on budget considerationsand impact of proposed offers.● Worked with recruiting and marketing teams to identify creative ways to attract top talent,including organizing annual recruiting networking events as well as launching new social mediacampaigns and branding efforts.● Performed competitive analysis of the company’s online presence with key recruiting platformsincluding Glassdoor and LinkedIn.● Owned recruiting efforts for hourly candidates including sourcing, interviewing andcollaborating with hiring managers.● Acted as team lead for newly created intern program; coordinated all intern events includingleadership presentations, workshops and social outings.● Managed company-wide charity drives to support organizations including Cradles to Crayons,Bridge Over Troubled Water and Backpack Heroes.
