Responsible for all technical and development aspects of projects. Role comprises mainly of web application development, using various technologies (e.g. PHP, jQuery, ColdFusion, ASP.Net, JavaScript, XML, XHTML, MySQL, SQL Server, MS Access).Projects range from ecommerce, content management systems (CMS), recruitment / training websites to fully bespoke applications with integration to back-end systems (e.g. accounts, stock control).Other aspects include search engine optimisation (SEO), hosting and email ,management.

After initially supporting the first version of the company website (which had been built by a third party company before I started), I was the technical lead in the team charged with building second version.This essentially involved starting from scratch, with a completely new design and new processes.After completing the new website, I continued to support and update it for the remainder of my time with the company.

I spent my industrial placement from Nottingham Trent University in the Information Services Technical Support department at Bentley Motors (formerly Rolls Royce & Bentley Motors).My responsibilities included installing and servicing computers and equipment, installing computers and barcode scanners as part of the supply chain tracking system and general IT support duties.I was also responsible for implementing the company Intranet.
