Develop, maintain, and run systems in production and lower environments (build-run team). Primary systems are leads, user hub (audience tracking), RUM instrumentation, and user performance-machine performance correlation.Projects of note:* Jenkins pipeline scripting for pulling DFP advertisements (using IAB standards) and arbitrary web pages and running performance tests against them using WebPageTest, Google Lighthouse, Google PageSpeedIndex. Integrating that into Splunk and Slack.* NewRelic integration and testing* Built/implemented log replay tools for performance testing. This uses Filebeat/Logstash for aggregation and "cleans" the data for use by JMX.* Highly performant user identification system in a purely cloud-native environment using AWS Elasticache, API Gateway, and Lambda.* Correlative system that examined user performance to machine/system performance by utilizing RUM, machine level data (IO, CPU, etc), user events, and site speed to determine if machine performance had an impact on user behavior. Implemented using Spark/EMR, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, Elastic Beat. System worked in near real-time.* Participated in a Cox Automotive Media Group rotational program: spent 3 months working with Dealer.com on-site as an effort to share knowledge, learn and teach best practices, and become familiar with their business.
