With over 15 years of experience in I.T infrastructure and support, I am passionate about leveraging technology to enhance business processes and improve lives. I am currently the I.T Systems and Network Administrator at Naomi's Village, a non-profit organization that runs a school and a children's home in Kenya. At Naomi's Village, I am responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's information technology systems, providing technical support to users, implementing security measures, and monitoring network and system performance. I am also leading the digitization of the school, enabling online learning and assessment for the students and teachers. I have achieved this by utilizing my skills and certifications in Cisco networking, fiber optics, and hardware and software troubleshooting. I am always eager to learn new technologies and expand my knowledge base. My recent efforts to upskill include learning Network Security, Cybersecurity Essentials, and Cisco Meraki Network Engineer Fundamental courses on Netacad and learning.meraki.net platforms. My goal is to become a Cisco Meraki Technical Support Engineer and help organizations manage their network infrastructure on the cloud.I thrive in dynamic IT ecosystems with many moving parts and have a solid analytical mind capable of quickly pinpointing the root cause of issues. I enjoy working in small, nimble teams where I can collaborate and contribute to the common vision and goals. I believe that technology is a powerful tool that can transform the world for the better and I am committed to making a positive impact through my work.
