Summer (2001):Coded a MATLAB implementation of OFDM for a new IFR waveform synthesiser. The project required self-motivation and initiative to research the standards and attention to detail to successfully implement a solution.During my placement year (1999 – 2000):Became an experienced user of Delphi producing testing software for IFR, requiring both close teamwork with design engineers and senior management and initiative to design a complete product.Designed an electronic attenuator with another student, using HP Series IV / ADS design & simulation suite, requiring holistic design approach including cost assessment.Oversaw a small student project, requiring leadership and interpersonal skills.Presented projects to senior managers.
