Engineering assurance activities to support the design of submarine platform systems. Tasks include reviewing contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with functional and regulatory requirements; and contributing to engineering decisions that provide direction to the contractor's design.

Working with prime contractors throughout the Defence procurement process. Focused on ensuring assets being procured met program requirements regarding fitness for purpose, maintainability, budget, schedule and industry capability.

Worked on a wide variety of mechanical engineering problems to support the sustainment of the Collins Class Submarines. Tasks involved assessing and mitigating risks; engineering assurance activities; and involvement in configuration changes.

Officiating national football matches sanctioned by Football Federation Australia.

Processing and analysing data for the quality assurance team as part of the Air Warfare Destroyer build program. Conducting trend analyses to identify defect repetition. Also undertaking high level route cause analyses using data from inspections.

Conducted a project on active noise control for an automotive exhaust using an oscillating valve. Designed and manufactured the devices then tested each one in an internal combustion engine. Analysed the data and found that several designs had positive results warranting further development

Processing transactions, assisting with customer queries and ensuring store tidiness.

Conducted a project on integrating an unmanned vehicle with position determination and mapping software so that it can locate itself autonomously. The project was successful and the vehicle was able to locate its position on a self generated map of its surroundings
