Our goal when opening the Balance Patch was to create a fun and unique environment for people can hang out with friends, create new relationships and have fun in a warm and welcoming environment. Regulatory Compliance Consulting, assess and manage the financial, compliance and business risks related to money laundering, sanctions and investigative due diligence.Guide clients in the review and implementation of financial compliance programs.Managing Consultant (March 2018 – March 2019)• Evaluating the staffing and quality of a client’s 120-person investigations unit which reviews and reports activity to US authorities.• Led a team of three in conducting reviews of client policies, procedures and controls around Politically Exposed Persons and reporting of potential suspicious activity to authorities.• Structured an eight-person team to complete an assessment of the client’s Global Risk Assessment and Client Due Diligence policies and procedures, covering India, the UAE, Japan, Germany, the UK, and Singapore, with regards to sanctions.Senior Consultant (March 2015 – February 2018)• Assessed client transaction monitoring and client due diligence policies and procedures globally.• Led a team to Tokyo for client interviews, conducted in Japanese, designed to determine their level of anti-money laundering knowledge and credentials.• Wrote Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (“FCPA”) reports detailing recent enforcement actions by the Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission and summarized relevant speeches on FCPA enforcement quarterly.• Created universal tool for assessing Trade Finance programs that was presented and adopted across the practice at the Trade Finance Training program.• Managed all the monthly finances including auditing, forecasting and billing, for the largest project in the practice.Consultant (January 2014 – February 2015)• Conducted extensive document reviews and performed gap analysis on three years of “Know Your Client” files.• Developed and implemented a training for team of ten contractors in policies and procedures.
