Before I founded AKA more than 20 years ago, I began my career working for some of the top PR and marketing companies (Fleishman-Hillard, Edelman, and Golin), learning from the best in the fields of marketing, communications, brand management and PR. I quickly became a trusted go-to partner and resource for top accounts like McDonald’s, Campbell’s, Midas, and Coors. As a budding entrepreneur in college, I learned from Jimmy John and helped him open his second Jimmy John’s location. With a leap of faith (and $13 in my bank account), I founded AKA to help tell brand stories.
