I developed the course with GetSmarter and have been its head tutor since the course started operating in 2015. It is a wonderful opportunity to engage with and educate the next generation of UX practitioners around the country, and allows me to merge my academic interests (I am a member of the ACM's SIGCHI (Special Interest Group in Computer-Human Interaction) and practical teaching.

Developed a fully internet based middle to back office platform, from a freshly sourced team of local developers, whilst managing clients and operational support across the globe.

One man band. Wrote web applications in .NET, PHP, Perl and Python for clients in the Insurance, FMCG, Legal and Creative Services industries.

Worked as Lead C# Developer. Innovated with ISAPI Mod_Rewrite to secure and white label the core SQL Server Reporting Services application offering which had been insecure. Provided code improvements, and recommended sweeping architectural changes in a complex layered telecoms billing SaaS offering.

Started as junior developer on the Master Currency Genesis project; was lead Flash ActionScript developer and later lead on the entire financial services backbone of Master Currency, which was handled by GV. Left the firm as the company was taking a direction into CRM, whereas my interests lay in financial systems development.
