Creative liaison between the US, UK, and Asia offices for client and internal projects. Creative tasks included branding, packaging design, structural concepts, presentations, name generation, photography direction, production design direction and leadership of the Chicago design team. Clients ranged from large enterprises, mainly Walmart, Dell, Michaels, Bissell, Borden Dairy, Sainsbury’s, Lidl and Mitre10 New Zealand, to smaller venture capitalist brand launches.

Main responsibilities involved proprietary brand development, packaging design and merchandising programs for national hardware, home decor, and home improvement retail chains. Top clients included The Home Depot, Sam’s Club, Kenmore, Liftmaster, Tractor Supply, Masco, Emerson Brands and Bed Bath and Beyond. Held ancillary role as design leader in their internal boutique agency, "The Flugelhorn Shop," for clients outside the main enterprise such as Trek Bicycles, SRAM, Peninsula Hotel and local eateries.

At an agency of about 6 employees, the boutique agency experience was immersive, including daily interaction with clients, managing print deliveries and conducting press checks. Designed direct mail, collateral and ads for a diverse array of prominent local clients such as the Chicago Community Trust, McHugh Construction, Golub & Company and Gallagher Insurance.

Created ads for this greater Chicago residential leasing publication. Clients were local as well as nationwide realtors including AMLI Residential. Responsibilities also involved production of their quarterly catalog. Awarded first place in a nationwide competition for the cover design of their corporate brochure.
