• Designed and programmed Machine Learning code in Python to classify materials based on light polarization data provided by the Air Force in order to help the Air Force solve real world problems relating to national defense• Designed and programmed a MATLAB app for analyzing the effects of different scientific equipment models in order to understand how the models effect classification performance • Created a data clustering program in Python to help visualize the complex data that I was provided• Improved performance of MATLAB code created by previous interns• Used the programming language Git to track file history in order to be able to return to previous file versions• Communicated with weekly meetings to provide progress updates• Communicated my findings by authoring a report that will be used in the future by the Air Force to continue research into a field they hope will aid in national defense
