Rebuilt the entire data-processing pipeline for vacation rental listing partners, moving away from map-reduce to a simplified parallel/serial hybrid processing approach, which increased run time efficiency by more than 80%, with an accompanying reduction in computational cost. System ensured fault tolerance across a set of EC2 instances. Additional technologies used included Beanstalk and Redis.
