Spearhead the development of forecasts for asset and insured deposits in the credit union industry. Assess the potential effects of macroeconomic stresses--including stresses that resemble the DFAST/CCAR scenarios--on credit union financial outcomes. Advise staff on methodological and data issues involved in financial stress testing. Conduct research into market interest rate differences--credit union vs. other financial institutions-- for loan and deposit products. Assess Access to Credit challenges and study options for mitigation. Evaluate credit union mortgage sales into secondary mortgage markets and assess the potential impacts of GSE (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) policy changes on industry executions. Serve as agency representative on the Property Assessment and Valuation Equity (PAVE) Interagency Task Force. Provide expertise/mentorship to agency staff on mortgage and appraisal data resources.
