UX @ Berkeley, the first and only UX-dedicated student run organization at UC Berkeley, is my passion project and my proudest achievement. As the Co-Founder and President, I have expanded the membership, scope, and clientele of the organization eightfold over the course of one semester, contracting with companies and on-campus organizations to create impactful user interfaces, hosting Berkeley's largest semesterly Designathon, and inviting and partnering with industry professionals to host speaker events and workshops. My goal is to develop a welcoming and inclusive design space at Berkeley for UX-interested students, and to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. As a student of Cognitive Science and Data Science, I am fascinated by the intersection of human cognition, behavior, and technology. I apply my knowledge and skills to design user-friendly, intuitive, and accessible digital products and services that enhance the user experience and satisfaction. As a Course Instructor of UC Berkeley's only student run neuroscience course, I curate and research course material and instruction strategies to enhance the learning experience of attending students, and to spark their interest and curiosity in the field. I am also a Project Team Lead at Mind Coffee, where I initiated and led a team of designers to rebrand and redesign the website of a local coffee shop, optimizing it for brand identity and overall flow.
