My name is Andrew Lively. I am a freshman at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, pursuing a major in Finance with a minor in Computer Science, and I am originally from the Bay Area, California. I have built a strong foundation in leadership, accountability, and communication through years of involvement in water polo and soccer, where I held leadership roles that reinforced my commitment to leading by example. I believe in holding myself to the same high standards I expect of others, creating a sense of mutual respect and teamwork. My interest in finance began in high school during the COVID-19 pandemic, sparked by discussions with family and friends. I started investing and quickly discovered that the analytical nature of the stock market aligned well with my strengths. I am passionate about understanding financial markets and enjoy discussing the potentials of various investments—passions that continue to drive my career goals in investment. While I recognize that I am still at the beginning of my journey, I am eager to utilize the resources and opportunities available at Kelley to deepen my knowledge and work toward a successful career in finance.
