As Regional Engineer I was responsible for the design of Harsco's Forming, Shoring, and Scaffold equipment, and overseeing the designs of other engineering team members in the Northeast and Central USA. Along with standard ranges of equipment, my experience also included; Self Climbing Formwork, Column Mounted Shoring, Table Shoring Systems, Single Faced Jump Formwork, Plate Girder Formwork, and Custom Steel Formwork Design for wall forms, bridge piers, column forms, tunnel forms, climbing formwork, architectural concrete, and precasting.

This position at SGB’s largest Middle East design office involved the management of a team offormwork designers and draftsmen for the design of SGB standard products including accessscaffolds, falsework, table forms, flying forms, heavy duty shoring and wall formworkincluding self climbing forms. I also regularly designed custom steel formwork forapplications such as circular columns, bridge piers, and precast applications. As design officemanager I was responsible for the quality and safety of all design drawings and calculationsproduced by this office. Other responsibilities included in-house training of personnel, qualityassurance implementation and liaising with customers, consultant engineers, and members of thesales team, logistics department, and manufacturing facility.
