As Sales and Operations Manager for Delamore Estates, a Waiheke boutique wine business, I was responsible for all sales and sales strategy. This involved progressing from our initial channel of online sales to include others such as trade, restaurant and retail, our own tasting room, and trade shows such as Winetopia. Sales has been a constant part of my working life, from retail and hospitality during high school to St. John where my role included selling medical alarms, first aid training, and memberships. Delamore Estates saw my professional sales duties extend even further with developing and working to sales strategy. I have dealt with the customer end of sales with our wine shop/liquor store, the supplier side dealing with the reps/distributors we have nationwide, and the on the ground sales to individual retail customers, hospitality, and trade. From the very start of my career in customer services I have had the opportunity to build relationships with customers, suppliers, managers, and several people in C-Suite positions. I have also had opportunities through my family’s corporate and philanthropic ventures to connect and network with high-level individuals in the community here in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. After four years in the Waiheke wine industry, I am now looking to progress my career in a larger FMCG organisation in either a sales, key accounts, or operations role.
