Andrew is an empathetic, caring, and genuine client-centred Psychologist who is passionate about mental health and the ways in which psychology can assist people in living lives that they love and are truly proud of.Andrew deeply understands the role that good mental health plays in contributing to the quality of people’s lives, and in strengthening their relationships with their families, friends, communities, organisations, and boarder connections.Working as a Provisional Psychologist at Island Psychology, Andrew treated a wide-ranging caseload of clients, from adolescents to older adults, with varying presentations, challenges, and risk profiles, both face-to-face and via tele-health. This role further strengthened Andrew's psychotherapeutic skills in ACT, CBT, Mindfulness and Client-Centred Therapy, as well as expanding his professional, ethical, and administrative skills and experience.In addition to his training in Psychological Science, Andrew has years of experience working as a Health Musician, servicing clients such as The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Aurora Support Services, using music therapy to assist and support patients and their loved ones throughout their journeys.
