Andrew Lush is a video editor, screenwriter, film director, and performer from a rainy small town in the Pacific Northwest. He earned a BA in Film & Electronic Arts from Bard College and an MFA in Film Directing from CalArts, and studied digital cinematography at La Fémis in Paris. For a decade he made motion graphics in Los Angeles, including theatrical bumpers for Sundance in 2012, 2015, and 2016, and his short films have played at Outfest and Outfest Fusion, San Francisco Transgender Film Festival, Perth’s PRIDE Queer Film Festival, and many more. His feature screenplay about falling in love with a ghost was a semi-finalist for the Outfest Screenwriting Lab in 2021, he co-wrote a comedy TV series about the gig economy, and in his spare time he collaborates with Jane Pickett at Nature Show.
