I work on special projects and help businesses understand and refine their software goals by providing analysis and insights from more than 20 years of building software products and tools.

Icon was created when VoiceFriend acquired Caremerge in 2022. The combination of VoiceFriend's best in class broadcast messaging tools with Caremerge's Resident and Staff engagement tools created comprehensive solution that enriches the lives of hundreds of thousands of Seniors and supports the staff members of thousands of communites.I served as CTO to start the integration of the two platforms and manage the melding of the engineering cultures.

• Brought on as CTO in 2018 to build an engineering organization and stabilize and grow the platform. • Migrated the application from on-premise hosting and deployed it on AWS with continuous integration and continuous deployment. • Established security policies and procedures to achieve a successful third-party HIPAA assessment.• Grew from a few hundred customers to almost two thousand customers and ten million monthly messages sent through the platform serving hundreds of thousands of seniors, their families and senior living staff. • Handled 1000s of transactions per second at peak messaging periods in the day.

Lytiks was a pioneering SaaS application that combined web analytics with arbitrary event tracking and lead generation tools to create a business management platform. It was created from the work done between 2005 to 2010. The platform was acquired and went on to serve and the basis of ThriveHive (Techstars 2015).

Conversion Associates was a digital analytics company founded to lead in the innovation, development, and production of software applications to make digital analytics easier and more impactful to business decision making with a focus on online and offline marketing measurement. To this end, we produced SaaS products and deployed profession services teams to work with customers. Conversion Associates was named "A Start-Up to Watch," by Mass High Tech and additional recognition by Boston's Mayor, Thomas M. Menino, as one of Boston's "entrepreneurial success stories."
