325 Magazine is an annual portfolio of student work from Toronto Metropolitan University’s Department of Architectural Science. On a team of three, I assisted with selecting and synthesizing student submissions, magazine design, and writing for the 2016 issue. Managing the project included funding presentations and liaising with publishers and sponsors.

In this role, I trained and managed a team operating at Dundas Square responsible for assisting locals and visitors with area information and daily walking tours. Additionally, I participated in media interviews and walking tours for large visiting groups and conferences. In 2012, I assisted with the operation of the milestone Celebrate Yonge festival and pilot project for a reimagined Yonge Street.

Taking an interest in the transformation of Uptown Waterloo, I was hired as a photographer of construction and development progress in the redevelopment of the Waterloo Town Square shopping centre, for use in promotional materials. This observational and immersive work spurred on my interest in the underlying architectural and urban design process.

As a member of The Record community editorial board, I addressed issues of urban design and planning in the Waterloo Region, encouraging a more walkable, transit-focused approach, as well as giving voice to public support of a new public square. An excerpt of my writing is featured in the 150th anniversary book "Waterloo: An Illustrated History".
