Asked to relocate to Shanghai to add Greater China (mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan) and Korea to my Japan responsibility. Executing a partial turnaround in greater China:• Overhauled the onboarding model for transit cards to enable much more rapid adding of new cities by using third party service providers• Launched the transit cards of 15 new Chinese cities (as of July 2021) in record time onto Apple Pay. Now transit cards from all cities on the Apple Pay platform have no fee• Negotiated distribution partnerships for prepaid transit cards with China's leading E-Commerce giants, including launching Nanjing, Xiamen, and Tianjin transit cards through Alipay mini-programs• Launched the QR code of the BJ Metro (亿通行) over NFC on the Apple Pay platform.
