Over my career, my primary focus has been on quality and customer service. I have been using Object Oriented Design and Analysis, primarily with Microsoft Technologies, since 2005. I believe that the simplification and standardization of systems and processes drives excellence. The Agile mindset is how I go about working with both individual and enterprise-level application development. Behind the scenes, I’ve designed and built SOAP (XML) based Web Services, and WebAPI using both JSON, and XML. I’ve also designed and built data access and interchange tools to move information from one structure to another, using any number of different relational data platforms, including Microsoft Azure tools and C#. With respect to data and database design, creation and storage, I’ve worked with SQL Server 2000-2016, MySQL 4/5, SqlAnywhere, and SQL Azure with Azure Table Storage.I am a self-starter, with the usability of the end product as my primary focus. My primary goal is a high-quality solution that is easy to use. Toward that end, I use Test Driven Development whenever possible, to ensure that not only is my understanding of the Business Logic is correct, but to also ensure that breaking changes are limited. Technical documentation is done in Visio for the Dev team, with Business facing documentation in Word and/or Excel, depending on the situation.
