About Andrew (A.J.) Mcfarlane

I completed my undergrad studies at Hobart College with a dual BS in Computer Science & Physics alongside a minor in French in May 2019. These days I work as an Engineering Technician, where most of my time revolves around testing & repairing speakers. I spend most of my free time programming, which I love, primarily because it involves harnessing high levels of logic and creativity to solve meaningful problems. I garner tremendous fulfillment from this type of work. Though my expertise lies in Java, I do most of my programming these days in JavaScript, C++ and Python. Building strong backend systems is perhaps what I cater to most naturally. When not coding, I can usually be found at the gym or writing a post for the blog I have yet to publish (coming soon).
