In this role, my primary responsibility is refurbishing speakers returned by customers.This process includes:• modifying internal PCBs• making evidence-based inferences to solve problems• testing speakers (listening to music!!)• employing & suggesting amendments to standardized testing procedures• recording speaker-test data + vital statistics such as units disposed of, rate of recovery, etc• brainstorming speaker abnormalities with coworkers

I TA'd for two courses at the University of Calgary, Intro to Computer Science and Intro to Distributed Systems. In these capacities, I:• hosted weekly live tutorials, where I reviewed relevant material using practical examples and live coding• fostered respectful and productive forum discourse with the aim of brainstorming concepts and ideas• reviewed large amounts of source code, in both the context of problem sets and project work• led students through the process of breaking down problems, making them easier to comprehend• facilitated a productive working environment with enthusiasm, positivity, and a keen love for learningAdditional responsibilities include assignment grading, answering questions during office hours reinforcing fundamental programming concepts for myself by teaching them to others, and most importantly, helping fellow scholars succeed and enjoy the process while doing so.

As a Teaching Fellow, my job is to assist students in their studies while making the process enjoyable; this includes reviewing lab reports, conducting mock tests, as well as collaborating on homework problems. Further, I fostered a positive learning environment by encouraging students to achieve to the best of their abilities.

I was the lead developer in building a system analytics tool for the Transition flying car written in C++. Equipped with a two-tier audiovisual warning system, this tool was designed to receive, plot and log data via CANOpen and Simulink, allowing for simple analysis post-test. Booted in Linux on the Grayhill 3D70, this application was to be used by Electrical Engineers to conduct stress tests of various electromechanical configurations. Throughout project development, I collaborated with senior engineers to make informed design and implementation decisions. Additionally, I also designed a commercial-grade 12V to 5V buck converter in Altium.
