Also supported the software team in user requirements capture, solution design, and implementation of software to improve the Tarsier product.

Worked as part of a team of engineers responsible for installation, testing, and field support of the Tarsier runway safety management system, deployed at International airports around the world. Responsibilities included fault diagnosis, recording, and resolution, encompassing radar hardware, digital signals processing hardware, and data/comms/power hardware.

- Responsible for testing of radar detection algorithms using a custom test harness, written in C, running under Linux. Radar data was processed and compared to algorithm results to determine the accuracy of the developed algorithms against theoretical results- Also involved in design, implementation, and testing of User Interface software coded in Visual C++ and deployed to Windows based systems

Designed, implemented, and tested C and C++ code and compiled Linux libraries to support a deployed surveillance system

Involved in writing simulation code in Matlab and PV-WAVE to mimic and test the behaviour of a novel hybrid-optical correlator, using fast BIT plane SLM. Adapted simulation code and wrote test harnesses to analyse the bit rates and precision of FFT algorithms.
