Working with NDS Bonds to provide design management services to 8Build and Skanska on the £164m St. Giles Urban Gallery for Outernet. The development at St. Giles is an immersive media experience, the first of its kind in the UK incorporating moving facades and the world's largest high-resolution wrap-around screens. St. Giles is made up of several buildings. The mixed use development includes; a flexible urban gallery with an ever changing programme of events, news, products, retail showcases and an ongoing information stream as well as; two events venues, residential units, hotel, office space, restaurants, bars and retail units.

Engaged with McLaren Construction as Lead Design Manager to head the design team on their prestigious project at Seagrave constructing the new 186 acre, £104m Training Centre for Leicester City Football Club. Now a multi-award winning project including Project of the Year 2021 from the Stadium Business Summit.Leading the design team and consultants the project has been a real challenge and a privilege to work on such an important scheme - the consultant and design team on the project number over 80 in total, with specialist designers covering football pitches, sports science facilities, academy as well as external and internal high spec finishes.The hard work, collaboration and attention to detail has been recognised, with the curved lattice steel frame forming the roof of the indoor pitch being shortlisted for the BSCA Structural Steel Design Awards. A second term with Kier to work primarily on pre-construction framework bids. Projects were; ESFA batch of 2 Schools £39m, new greenfield secondary school £22m and redevelopment of MoD barracks £18m. All 3 of the projects listed Kier were successful in being awarded the contracts to carry out the works.

Working with Wates for a second time, providing design management services on several framework projects, including Lutterworth (New development, mixed use and offices), DCC Ground Floor Reconfiguration (major fit out in a live building) and several Education Sector projects; Murray Park (Extensive enabling works, refurbishment and new 15 classroom block, Secondary Sch.), Westbury School (New 13 classroom block), Poplar School (New 3FE Primary), Clayfields (Secure Unit) and Middleton Primary (Extension to Hall and Early Years block)

Engaged with ISG for a second time, as a senior design manager to complete the design process on PET2 at St Thomas' Hospital, London. PET2 is the construction of a cyclotron facility within the existing hospital to provide nuclear medicines used in PET (positron emission tomography) scans. The project is logistically difficult due to the location and working with a live hospital environment, it is also technically challenging, involving radiation control and heavy civils work to form the concrete vault housing the cyclotron.

Alongside freelance design roles, I have had the opportunity to be involved with other projects such as; La Ermita Resort, Mijas, Spain. Project Management role to deliver the final 2 phases of a 4 phase project. Works included contract negotiations, BoQ, agreement of contract value and programme with client - MacDonald Hotels and Resorts (Scotland) as well as full construction process through to completion and handover. Management of all site matters and directly employed workforce of 40.The works comprised; 32, 2 bed apartments, Spa complex, solar energy systems and 74 space underground car park at a value of £5m New build on brownfield site of 3 Executive Houses in Sheffield, Project Managed from start to completion£1m Renovation of Residence in North London.New build housing projects and period renovation of Edwardian Gentleman's Residence.

Contracted as a senior design manager on the Priority Schools Building Programme with the Education Funding Agency to develop the project information through stakeholder engagements through to delivery of full contractor's proposals with Client (EFA) and School staff. Reviewable design process and the complex multi-stage decant on the Waltham Forest Schools Batch, George Mitchell School.

During my time with ISG London I worked several projects including the O2 Arena, £60M Retail Development within the O2 and The Hurlingham Club, Racquet Centre which is a prestigious new £10M leisure facility for the Club. Other projects include Bromley Schools, a batch of 13 school redevelopment projects and several pre-construction projects. Mentoring role; helping and advising other design managers on education projects.

I worked with Kier Construction on the Priority Schools Building Programme to manage the design on the Southern Batch Schools, which comprised of 7 schools; primary, secondary and SEN, through bid stage and then develop the design on 2 Special Educational Needs Schools through to construction information and start of work on site. Both SEN schools were modelled in 3D using REVIT and Navisworks.Key role with both SEN projects was stakeholder engagement, working with staff and pupils to achieve the best solution for their specific needs. These two schools remain some of my proudest works and very fond memories of both staff and pupils.

Engaged to work with Wates Key Clients and provide design expertise to construction and bid teams; preparation of bid documents and pre-construction design; projects across the South of England included; elderly extra care residential homes for Sunrise Senior Living in Fleet, Cardiff and Bournemouth, and a major warehousing scheme at Heathrow Airport, London. Values to £18M

Design lead on the £15M Dorset Police Headquarters PFI. Project comprised the design and build of 2 New Police Stations in Weymouth and Bridport, redevelopment and extension of listed building into a 3rd Police Station in Dorchester and New build HQ complex in Weymouth incorporating; dog section, 3 storey admin block, cells, garages and fuel station and station house all adjacent to SSSI site. I acted as the single point of contact between clients and design team for the project

Wide and varied portfolio of properties from Married Quarter Housing to Aircraft Hangars and Listed Buildings.Responsibly for delivering cradle to grave projects including cost and programme for works up to £250K
