About Andrew Messersmith

Growing up as a golfer and a musician has taught me patience and how to overcome adversity in a competitive environment. These skills are crucial as I enter my career in power trading.During the summer of 2023 I spent my time working as a jr. power trader in Prague at Sev.en Commodities, where I worked with analyzing ERA5 data and forecasting for the European power market. I also was able to work with the power desk to provide input on and suggest trading opportunities. Starting in August of 2024 I started working on the trading desk at Convex Energy In Berlin as a meteorologist, transitioning to an intraday trading role.
