-Served as lead GIS analyst for Global Forest Watch Commodities online forest monitoring and supply chain mapping tool, which promotes sustainable oil palm development in Indonesia. -GIS manager for Indonesia forest team, trained and supervised three GIS analysts including two based in Jakarta, Indonesia. -Completed the development and expansion of oil palm suitability models for Indonesia to encourage establishment of plantations on existing degraded lands rather than primary forest. -Collected, processed, and analyzed forest and agricultural datasets and satellite imagery to produce maps, posters, map services, and online mapping tools. -Traveled to Indonesia in 2013 and 2014 to provide GIS and degraded land analysis capacity-building workshops to colleagues and partner organizations. -Served as primary map author for Interactive Forest Atlas of Cameroon. Worked with partners in Cameroon to collect, analyze, and present forest data in online mapping tool and print publication. -Regularly collaborated with web developers on design and functionality of online tools.-Member of teams awarded Top 10 Outcomes: Global Forest Watch (2014) and Indonesia Forest Team (2013). Awarded annually to the projects that contribute to the greatest change in the outside world.

-GIS and remote sensing support for the Southern Forests for the Future, Central Africa Forestry, and Coastal Economic Valuation teams in the People and Ecosystems Program.-Served as primary publication map author for Southern Forests for the Future publication and contributed to maps created for companion interactive map website, SeeSouthernForests.org. Publication and website bring together data, maps, and historical imagery to highlight features and trends of forests in the southern United States.-Aided Business and Ecosystem team in GIS analyses of ecosystem services for corporate partners. -Assisted GIS team in development of web-based interactive forest atlases for the Congo Basin. -Member of team awarded “Best Dressed Publication” for Southern Forests for the Future for best design and use of maps and imagery, 2010.

-Acquired and processed satellite imagery and supported the production of forestry atlases for Congo basin countries through GIS and remote sensing. -Processed satellite images using remote sensing software and performed supporting research and GIS functions for the Coastal Economic Valuation team.

Served on a team of graduate student consultants producing a report analyzing opportunities and obstacles for developing a green building retrofit training program in The Bronx.
