After acting as a senior software engineer at InventCommerce for a year, I have been placed in charge of Quality Assurance. As a company our focus to our clients is providing the highest quality software systems possible.As well as acting as a senior software engineer actively writing software across all our projects, I am focused on coaching our engineers to produce high quality code. The emphasis on quality includes, clean, readable, extensible, efficient, optimized and bug free code.I am responsible for my personal engineering tasks as well as training and reviewing code written by our team members on a continuous basis.Our software team is completely focused on quality, whether it's efficient code or perfect delivery, that's what we aim for!

I am acting as a lead developer on a number of ongoing software projects at InventCommerce, focusing on Magento Enterprise solutions but including other web-related projects and technologies.I am focused on developing custom magento enterprise admin modules that are integrated with multiple systems, of which Ebay is an example. I have custom built inventory management and picking systems for retail warehouses that tie directly into magento and its order and shipping management systems. The code I write usually resides on live, high throughput client systems and so my focus is always on developing efficient, robust systems.

I developed software for clients of Radical Company. I have worked on a number of projects mainly as a back-end developer, front developer, automated testing, system administration and as a project manager when necessary. I worked at Blake Hall college, lecturing computer science (Databases) and programming skills, as well as mathematics.My responsibilities included all lecturing and teaching responsibilities as running the linux computer laboratory. Marking and over-seeing projects included.

I worked at the National Laser Centre within the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).My main responsibility was conducting research immediately focussed on my Masters project and thesis.I was also responsible for routine tasks within the femto-second laser laboratory.
